Xbox LIVE goes mobile


It’s official now, Xbox LIVE service is going mobile finally on the Windows Mobile platform. This announcement comes from Windows mobile boss Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore at MWC, what you can do with the Xbox LIVE service on Windows mobile seems to be impressive and would be interesting to see how it shapes in reality. You can Collect Achievements and build your Gamerscore, View Xbox LIVE leaderboards, access your Xbox LIVE Avatar, add new Xbox LIVE buddies to your friends list while out on the go, multiplayer interaction that would span to not only people on other phones but also on the PC and console as well, Access Spotlight feeds, including the latest tips and tricks, game news, updates and more.

Mobile gaming is seriously making inroads amongst users with iphone emerging as a strong contender, PSP already an established brand in portable gaming, it was high time MS considered mobile gaming market seriously, check the windows mobile 7 sneak peek video below
